Beyond The Box Receives National Women’s Entrepreneur Certification | Achievements

Beyond the box in Billings received national certification through Women’s Business Enterprise (WBENC). WBENC certification validates that a business is at least 51% owned, controlled, operated and managed by one or more women. Their world-class certification standard is accepted by more than 1,000 companies representing America’s most prestigious brands, in addition to numerous states, cities and government entities.

Kristy Ferguson, co-owner and CEO of Beyond the Box (BTB) has also been selected by WBENC to join a nationwide cohort of women-owned businesses under the WeTHRIVE program. WeTHRIVE is a virtual executive development program designed to help women entrepreneurs survive today’s uncertainty, grow and thrive for the future.

Ferguson says of their WBNEC certification, “Getting WBENC certified has been a goal of mine since the beginning. I want to be around other women who have gone through similar growing pains and, in turn, be able to offer my support to those who become homeowners. I love that they offer training to help you grow your business and are particularly interested in the impact you will have on your community with this knowledge. »

Beyond The Box has been assigned to the WeTHRIVE Program Grow Course Track, based on a personal and professional assessment made during the application process.
