PETALING JAYA: Public Bank Bhd has worked with various technology companies to offer a range of digital business solutions through its PB enterprise Digital SME Assist program.
The program provides a sustainable platform for business enterprises to grow by enhancing their digital capabilities alongside their business expansion.
Since launching in mid-April this year, many of the bank’s SME and corporate clients have experienced increased business growth and accelerated digital transformation through the program.
He clarified that the Covid-19 pandemic and the resulting Movement Control Order (MCO) underscored the need for digitalization and the need to move to a more digital environment for business survival.
Against this backdrop, Public Bank recognized that businesses, especially SMEs, needed help in transforming and digitizing their operations in the most cost-effective way possible in order to thrive in the new normal.
He has identified areas relevant to business in the current climate and worked with solution providers in the areas of accounting, human resources, e-commerce, workforce, property management, digital, mobile and network marketing to help SMB customers.
The bank collaborated with Biztory, a cloud accounting system; Kakitangan.com, an online human resources system; EasyStore, an e-commerce solutions platform; TimeTec, a provider of workforce and asset management solutions; Exabytes, a digital marketing platform and telecommunications provider, Digi.
